Funfest PreSale Ticket Information

Our annual Funfest is fast approaching, and we're excited to announce that presales for VIP Starter Packs, wristbands, and game tickets will begin Monday, May 12th! Purchasing in advance means you'll skip the lines at the event -- and you can take advantage of your $5.00 coupon toward any presale order. Coupons can also be redeemed at Funfest.
Presale Details:
When: May 12-16, 8:40-9:00 AM each day
Where: CES Cafeteria
How to Order

2. Attach your $5 coupon (one per student).
3. Return form with payment (cash, check payable to "CES PTO", or Venmo @CES-PTO-6 with student name & grade in memo).
4.All presale orders are delivered directly to your student's homeroom teacher on Friday, May 16th.

Funfest Volunteers Needed
Posted by LuAnn Bicevskis on 5/8/2025 11:00:00 AMCES Funfest is just around the corner, and we need your help to make it a sweet success!! We're looking for donations of cakes and candy for our popular Cake Wheel game and Candy Stand.
If you're able to donate, please click the link below and sign up. Cakes should be labeled with ingredients and dropped off in the car rider line the morning of May 16th, volunteers will be outside to collect them. Candy and other food donations can dropped off in the office at your convenience.

Hempfield HS Football Opportunities for Youth

1) Spring Showcase 6/5 - Youth receive a mini football and may come onto the field at the end. MORE INFO: Spring Showcase Details
2) Youth Free Speed Clinics, 5 sessions in June/July - These free 1 hr and 30 min sessions are aimed at improving speed and athletic performance for Hempfield youth. MORE INFO: Youth FREE Speed Clinics

False Alarms at CES
Posted by Kelly Burkholder on 5/5/2025 12:00:00 PMEarly this afternoon, a faulty heat sensor triggered the fire alarm twice at Centerville Elementary School. In accordance with our safety protocols, students and staff evacuated the building for a short period of time. The fire department promptly arrived, investigated the issue, and confirmed that the building was safe for reentry. Students and staff continued with their normal schedule for the remainder of the day.

Supporting Bereaved Children & Teens: What Do I Say, What Do I Do?

This event is open to the community.
Tuesday, May 13 from 6:30 – 8 p.m. @ Hempfield High School. Enter by the Franklin Office, off of Stanley Avenue, Door A4.

Who: Any girl entering 7th or 8th grade interested in trying out for the Hempfield Jr. High Girls’ Soccer team.When: Monday, Aug. 18 and Tuesday, Aug. 19 from 3:30-530. The first day of school and after school practice begins Wednesday, Aug. 20.
Time: 3:30-5:30
Where: Fields along Kauffman Road, beside Landisville Primary Center and across the street from the baseball field.
Summer Open Field Opportunities: Wednesday, July 23, Wednesday, July 30 and Wednesday, August 6 from 6:30-7:30 at the Quad.
Physicals are required to participate in all athletic try-outs. Players & parents must complete the official PIAA physical evaluation form before the exam can be completed. Additional forms are available in each school office and can be downloaded.
Physicals will be offered at the high school from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on June 5.

Physical paperwork must then be uploaded to the Athletic Training System (ATS) Portal. No athlete can participate until all paperwork is uploaded to this system.

Attention Parents of Current Grade 6 Students
Posted by Kelly Burkholder on 5/2/2025 10:00:00 AMThis is a reminder for parents/guardians of current 6th-grade students regarding immunization requirements for attendance in 7th grade. This information is sent out early so the required immunizations can be scheduled at your child’s next wellness visit.
For attendance in 7th grade, students will need 1 dose of tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap) and 1 dose of meningococcal conjugate (MCV) prior to the first day of their 7th grade year. Please visit the HSD Health/Nursing Services website or contact your school nurse if you have any questions.

HHS FUNdamental Dance Theatre Ticket Information

Tickets can be purchased online in advance or in person at the box office 45 minutes prior to the show on the date of the performance. Showtimes are:
